Dead Lands brings Kingdom to a dark gothic world. But do not fear, you’ll be able to play as the heroine Miriam and three other characters from Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, each with a powerful trait.

Since launch, monarchs have been building their Kingdoms in the classic medieval and feudal Japan inspired settings. Now things are about to get darker and creepier with Dead Lands, a completely new setting that will change how you rule your Kingdom. Taking place in a gloomy gothic world with eerie mounts, building a Kingdom has never been more frightening than this!

For the first time ever in Kingdom, you will not only be able to change which mount you roam around on while you explore and expand your kingdom but you’ll also be able to switch between four different monarchs, each with a unique powerful trait. These four new monarchs in Dead Lands all come from gothic horror action-RPG Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night, developed by Koji Igarahi’s ArtPlay and published by 505 Games. In Dead Lands, you’ll start out as the Shardbinder Miriam, and during your journey unlock the demon hunter Zangetsu, summoner Gebel, and alchemist Alfred.

The gothic horror action-RPG Bloodstained: Ritual of the Night is created by legendary game developer Koji “IGA” Igarashi. He came into the spotlight with Castlevania: Symphony of the Night that coined the expression Metroidvania for the genre, or Igavania as many now refers to it as. After setting up his studio ArtPlay, he launched Bloodstained through one the most successful Kickstarter campaigns ever, and then signed a publishing deal for the game with 505 Games. The entire Kingdom team is honored to be trusted with bringing his characters into our world and looking forward to seeing what he might have in store for Kingdom fans in the Bloodstained universe…
